Mike has been performing, recording and teaching music for 34 years.He studied with such greats as William G. Leavitt, Lenny Breau, Herb Ellis, Don Allessi, Tommy Tedesco, and Barney Kessel, to name a few, and earned himself the ‘Harris Stanton Award”. He performed with New England based jazz and top 40 show groups at major hotels and concert halls, including symphony hall Boston, MA. and for Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. He also backed comedians Jackie Vernon and Rip Taylor.

Later moving to Los Angeles, he performed at private parties, show clubs, and major hotels such as the Beveriy Hills, Century Plaza, etc., and with artists to the likes of Mary Wilson & The Supremes), Kim Games, Buddy Ebsen, Tom Fowler(Frank Zappa) and Tony Newton (Motown Recording Artist). He also worked on cruise ships for Princess, Sitmar, and Western Cruiselines, and toured with the band “Main Squeeze” in Japan. While living in LA, Michael did much studio work at Lion Share Studios, Juniper Recording, Record One, and Evergreen Studios.
